Psychodynamic insight work focuses on understanding the roots of long-standing patterns by exploring how early experiences, relationships, and unconscious beliefs continue to shape your thoughts, emotions, and relationships today. By bringing awareness to these patterns, therapy helps create meaningful change—not just symptom relief, but a deeper sense of understanding, choice, and emotional freedom.

Eye Movement Desensitization &  Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR  is a trauma-informed therapy that helps the brain process overwhelming or unresolved experiences that continue to affect your present-day life. Rather than focusing only on talking through the event, EMDR helps the nervous system reprocess memories so they lose their emotional intensity. This can reduce symptoms such as anxiety, emotional reactivity, feeling stuck in old patterns, or being easily triggered by reminders of the past. EMDR is often used for trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, and experiences that felt too much, too fast, or too alone to fully process at the time.

Mindfulness Practices

Mindfulness practices, derived from modalities like DBT and Somatic therapy, help calm the nervous system and improve emotional regulation by increasing present-moment awareness. These skills support responding to emotions with greater clarity and stability rather than reactivity, and are especially helpful for feeling overwhelmed, on edge, or emotionally flooded.
